PROJECT 2011-2012

Monday is the day that we had Project, the first Monday the teacher explained to us that  will do this year.The first project that we did was about of the olympic games of London that will celebrate in August.

Ana, Judith, Laura, Ignacio and I formed this group known how ¨Cadalsinos around the world¨. There were various sports to do and we had to talk about basketball, in this project, had a contest for the best work that would be rewarded with some T-shirts of the Olympics Games, this prize was won for us.

The second project was on a tour of our town of San Roque. We talk about the history of San Roque and the most important places and people. And the last project was to make a magazine in which each group make a part of the magazine,once made the magazine would be published on the Internet. Our group made ​​the change of 4 ° to 1 baccalaureate, acrosport, philosophy and the trip to Sweden. The title of our magazine is Somos la clave del exito.We have learned to work in group, to learn more about programs of computer and know things new about the sport of basketball and our town San Roque.It has been a good year where we have worked very well and we hope follow all together the year that comes in 2º of baccalaureate.I as a member of the cadalsinos, I wish you a great summer to all! :)

Valuation of the subject!

Hi guys! To finish the year I'm going to do a valuation of the subject. During the first quarter we were working on a project of the Olympics Games. It was very funny and this group, Cadalsinos Around the World, was awarded like the best proyect of the Olympics Games. We did a project about basketball in JJOO. In the second quarter we did a project of the curiosities of our city. We talked about the history of the most famous places in San Roque. And finally, in the third quarter we made a magazine of our class' news. This group wrote about Acrossport, the changes from 4º to 1º, philosophy and the trip to Sweden. If you want you can read the magazine "Somos La Clave" in this blog. I think that this subject has helped me to use new technologies like Publisher, Prezi, Powerpoint, etc. In my opinion, I think the year on this subject has been very fun because all of us shared the proyects and we learnt a lot. THE WINNERS!

Hello people! We have recent news for you! Our project for the first quarter of the Olympic Games has been awarded as the best work by the P.I. teacher (Beni) and the physical education teacher (Juan Carlos G.) so we are very happy. The prize was a t-shirt commemorating the Olympic Games, two books and two wristbands. I hope we can show you photos of the awards and photos with both teachers next week. FINAL MONTH!

Hey guys! Since we only have one month to finish the course. I hope everyone can pass the finals exams and enjoy the summer that I think we deserve it. It was a course a little hard and now, these last days even more. I want to continue writing on the blog when we finish the course and I promise to tell you my holidays. I think that this summer I will travel to Salamanca to visit my family and I hope to travel abroad and meet new friends. I believe that I will go to the town where my friends that I met in Dublin last summer live. I hope to write soon. Greetings!!

Somos ¡LA CLAVE!

Hi people! How are u? Now, in the finals exams we are very busy so we haven't got many time for write and update our blog. In this quarter we are working on the construction of a magazine in which we will discuss issues related to the year 2011 / 2012. We are going to count the trip to Sweden in which Judit and I participated, we discuss the subject of philosophy (teacher's survey), the activity we have made in physical education, acrossport, and the change of 4 º ESO to Bachiller. The great day came!

Hi, everyone!
Today, finally we showed our last project about our little town, San Roque.

It's was really funny because we told our classmates that we had been in a trip where we discovered a lot of interesting things and beautiful places, so they were looking forward to knowing where we went. And when we said: we went sightseeing in San Roque!, all the people laughed. It supposed they knew all that they could about it because we live here. However, as we were explaining all its main monuments, they were getting surprised more and more.

Definitely, this project has helped us (and all our class) a lot. Althought we thought that as we live in this town, it is boring because we know all about it, we realised that San Roque has wonderful places, and now, we're even prouder of living here.

Also, I have to say that I get really nervious when I have to talk in public and I feel that all I'm doing is bad. But this time, I'm proud of myself because I think I do it very well. Actually, I'll know it when our teacher give me the mark of the project!

We returned from our road through San Roque!

This project has served me to know things about my town who did not know before.
We've had a great time while visiting all the monuments and places. San Roque is full of mysteries as a legend who always has told us our grandparents; a secret tunnel that crosses the historic center from the church Santa Maria la Coronada to Alameda Alfonso XII, there is little data to demonstrate it but why can not be real?

One of the things I liked about the town where is located, as barely a few kilometers are the beaches of Sotogrande, Torreguadiaro, Puente Mayorga, and Campamento, which are some of its neighborhoods. And outside we took a relaxing walk in the Pinar del Rey, an ideal area to spend one day in nature with family and friends.

Nothing more, that's all, I invite you to visit San Roque, you will not regret!

New project!

In our next project, Cadalsinos are going to sightseeing around the streets of our town and show you some of the most special places and monuments. We live in San Roque, a small town located in the bay of Algeciras, near the strait of Gibraltar. It is part of the province of Cádiz in Andalucia. And of course, it's full of history and places to visit. It was founded in 1706 when the inhabitants of Gibraltar were expelled from the Rock by the British troops that had conquered it during the Succesion war.
